Planting Vegetables in Our Polytunnel
Eco Schools
In Nettlefield Primary School we are trying to look after our school, our local environment and our world. We want to be eco friendly and make positive choices for the world we live in.
We have an Eco council that meets regularly to discuss current issues and what we can do to try and improve these. The Eco council is made up of pupils from P4-P7 and there is a representative from each class.
We have already achieved our silver and bronze certificate and we are currently working towards the Green Flag Award.
This year our focus has been to improve the biodiversity within our school grounds by creating a green space with lots of plants. The space will also be designed so it can be used for outdoor learning.
