Primary 4H/K enjoyed making their own pancakes in class to celebrate pancake Tuesday. We talked about the significance of each of the ingredients that go into making pancakes and discussed different traditions around the United Kingdom that happen to celebrate pancake Tuesday. We loved being able to mix, pour and flip our own pancake mix, using number and measure to calculate how much of each ingredient we needed to make our mix, adding lots of lovely toppings and most importantly sharing our pancakes with others.
