We had lots of fun and learned all about
- different types of weather and climates
- animals from around the world
- types of wintry weather we get in Belfast
- how we can stay warm in winter
- how animals keep warm in winter
We enjoying playing indoors and outdoors.
When our outdoor space was too frozen or slippy, we played in our covered area.
Some of us learned how to
- zip up our own coat
- put on our own gloves and mittens
- climb up the new climbing frame
- go backwards down a ladder
- jump and hop on a very bouncy trampoline
- pedal a bike
- steer a bike
- ride a bike faster
Mrs Bell showed us her big bike. We talked about
- all the different parts of it
- what they were called
- the job that they do
- all the items needed to cycle safely and keep the rider safe
Mrs Hughes gave us her beautiful Silver Cross pram and lots of hand knit blankets to play with.
We negotiated and agreed on different roles on a daily basis, with no arguments 👍
